Gunpowder Milkshake: Netflix Original Action Thriller Plot Story
Overview of the plot:
Director Navot Papushado and writer Ehud Lavski wrote a script for Gunpowder Milkshake, an action thriller film set in 2021. Karen Gillan plays a young hitwoman who must work with her estranged mother, Lena Headey, and some former colleagues in order to save a young girl (Chloe Coleman) from rival assassins.

Full Story Of Gunpowder Milkshake:
Sam, 12, learns at a diner that her assassin mother, Scarlet, is skipping town after a job gone wrong. Nathan cares for Sam after Scarlet kills the armed men seeking to kill her. She escapes with Sam after she kills them.
The firm where Scarlet worked shares a human resources manager named Nathan with Sam. Nathan assigns Sam a new job, killing and returning the money to a thief who stole from The Firm. Sam exchanges her weapons at a weapons armory that she disguises as a library. Upon arriving at Grace’s apartment, Anna May meets Madeline, Florence, and Florence’s former aides. As soon as they find out who she is, they reconsider killing her. Clean weapons are provided for the job.
Sam gunns down the man responsible for taking the money when he lunges for his phone when he infiltrates a hotel room to retrieve the money. Listening in on the call, she learns that he has stolen the money to save his kidnapped daughter and must exchange it at a nearby bowling alley for her. In order to handle the exchange, Sam takes him to a firm-affiliated private doctor.
Nathan learns of Sam’s plan and dispatches three henchmen to stop her and retrieve the money; as Sam proceeds with her plans, they are incapacitated. They hand her Emily before fleeing with the money; Sam pursues them, but they turn on each other, killing Sam and destroying the money.
While Sam is off killing henchmen, Nathan finds out that the son of Jim McAlister, the head of a powerful criminal empire, is one of the men he killed. Nathan agrees to kill Sam because he wants to avoid conflict. The doctor confronts Emily about Emily’s father’s death when Sam returns to see him. In addition to Nathan, Nathan’s three henchmen are also in the doctor’s office seeking treatment for their previous fight; they are informed that she will be killed. Sam has her arms paralyzed after the doctor injects her with the serum. Sam tapes knives and guns to Emily’s hands, so she uses them to fight and kill the three henchmen. Despite more henchmen arriving, Sam and Emily are able to escape in Sam’s car, with Sam directing and Emily braking.
Earlier in the day, Sam in bomber jacket receives a text from Nathan with a link to a safe house with supplies she will need to escape. Sam and Emily travel to the island, where Scarlet tells them she’s been watching him from afar for 15 years. In order to escape from the henchmen, Scarlet shows them a secret escape route.
After escaping the library, Scarlet returns to the library, where the librarians angrily demand to know why she did not contact them when she disappeared. They are interrupted by arriving gunmen. Sam attempts to hold them off, but, after she is overpowered, Scarlet intervenes to save her. The librarians consider fleeing with Emily, but they decide to join the fight.
All but Virgil, the nephew of Jim McAlister, are killed, including Madeline, who is killed, and Emily is kidnapped. “Virgil calls Sam, who welcomes Emily back to the diner if she turns herself in for her freedom. In the meeting, Sam learns that Jim McAlister had four older sisters that he could not relate to since he does not understand women. Despite Scarlet, Anna May, and Florence arriving with guns, Jim intends to torture Sam and make Emily watch. After killing Jim and his henchmen, Sam leaves Emily in the diner with the three women.
After Sam apologized for killing her father, Emily forgives him for killing her father. Taking a Girl Scout disguise, Emily visits Nathan at home. If Nathan does not return to the Firm and calls off the hit on her. Sam, Emily, Scarlet, Anna May, and Florence then drive down the coast together.
Netflix and Theatrical Release
STXfilms acquired the US distribution rights in February 2020. In April 2021, Netflix purchased the American distribution rights from STXfilms.
On July 14, 2021, Netflix released Gunpowder Milkshake in the United States, Canada, and Nordic countries. In addition, a limited theatrical release was also held in the United States at the same time. On July 21, 2021, StudioCanal released the film theatrically in France; according to Nielsen, it was the top-viewed film of the week in the United States. Its release date in Germany has been changed from September 2 to December 2, 2021.
